Rhythmic Return

Return to your body. Reconnect with your intuition. Rediscover rhythm, expression, and play.

If you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm.

Rhythm isn’t something you learn - it’s something you’re born with. In this class, we reconnect with that natural pulse through movement, music, and mindful listening.

Think: blend of yoga, somatics, improv, and live music designed to reconnect you with your inner knowing.

Rhythmic Return is an in-person, 80-minute somatic movement and rhythm workshop grounded in the Dalcroze method - a playful, body-first approach to rhythm, music, and embodied awareness.

Through guided movement, improvisation, breathwork, and communal rhythm-making, you’ll be invited to:

  • Quiet your analytical mind and reconnect with your inner rhythm

  • Explore sound, silence, breathe, and movement as portals to healing and self-expression

  • Feel your feelings - safely, in your body, and at your own pace

  • Reclaim joy, curiosity, and creativity through embodied play and improv

  • Strengthen self-trust and nervous system resilience

  • Connect with others in a warm, low-pressure space

No musical or movement experience necessary - just bring curiosity and a willingness to listen inward.

Rhythmic Return is for anyone yearning to reconnect with their body, creativity, and sense of aliveness. You might feel called to join if you are:

  • A musician, hobbyist, or music lover - whether you perform or simply love to listen, and are curious about rhythm as a way back to your body.

  • A dancer, actor, or movement artist seeking new pathways into expression, improvisation, and embodiment.

  • An adult exploring trauma-informed or intuitive healing, especially those feeling disconnected from their inner child or emotional self.

  • A creative soul (writer, visual artist, maker, etc.) looking to reawaken your intuition, reconnect with your body, or rediscover the playful, expressive inner child.

  • A caretaker, educator, coach, or leader who spends much of life attuned to others and is ready to rebuild self-trust and return home to yourself.

  • A person living with PTSD or cPTSD, navigating mental health challenges and seeking safe, somatic ways to feel again - gently, with care and support.
